The 16 mukhi Rudraksha is prominently available in two very powerful authentic varieties, the Nepal and Java Indonesian variety. The Nepali beads are generally lager, lustrous with thorny projections and deeply etched mukhi lines whereas Java Indonesian beads are smaller, smoother with visible mukhi lines. Due to the larger surface area Nepal beads have higher healing frequency and show results faster than Java beads which take slightly longer to show results. However, when it comes to long-term 16 mukhi Rudraksha benefits of both Nepal and Java beads are almost the same.
